Dr. Erin Shariff, DMD

Meet Dr. Shariff

Dr. Erin Shariff was born in Southern California and grew up in California, Virginia and Indiana. She attended Indiana University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology in 2006. She then attended the University of Louisville where she pursued a Master’s degree in Biology and graduated in 2009.

Dr. Shariff attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated in 2014 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. During her dental studies she developed a passion for the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and spent significant time learning about and pursuing the specialty. She was involved in community volunteer and outreach organizations throughout her dental school career and served as a student member of the admissions board.

In 2018 Dr. Shariff completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University. Her training has provided her with surgical expertise in the areas of dentoalveolar surgery, implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, benign pathology, maxillofacial trauma and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders.

Dr. Shariff is committed to making sure each of her patients feels comfortable and has the best experience possible while providing the highest level of care. She has a passion for helping others and has provided care to underserved communities in the rural U.S, Belize and Bolivia.

In addition to her career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Shariff is also a wife and mother. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young daughters.
