Amy Kuhmichel, DMD, FICD
Meet Dr. Kuhmichel
Dr. Amy Kuhmichel is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She completed her undergraduate studies with honors at Carnegie Mellon University, then earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Following dental school, Dr. Kuhmichel completed a rigorous four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University. Her extensive training included clinical rotations at Emory University Hospitals, Grady Memorial Hospital, the Atlanta VA Medical Center, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. During her residency, she gained comprehensive experience in all facets of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including facial trauma, dental implant placement, corrective jaw surgery, and major reconstructive procedures for developmental, congenital, and aesthetic conditions.
Dr. Kuhmichel holds staff privileges at Emory University Hospital Midtown, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Arthur M. Blank, Scottish Rite, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. She also volunteers her time and expertise at Grady Memorial Hospital and the Ben Massell Dental Clinic.
Alongside Dr. Glenn Maron, and Dr. Hari Digumarthi she is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient care in a warm, welcoming environment.
