Meet Dr. Digumarthi

Hari K. Digumarthi, DMD, MD, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and an Atlanta native. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. After initially working as a Chemical Engineer, Dr. Digumarthi matriculated at the Georgia Regents University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) to pursue his passion to help others through the healthcare profession.

Upon earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, he was accepted to the six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine from UAB School of Medicine. Dr. Digumarthi has received extensive training and continues to practice in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His areas of expertise include facial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, orthognathic surgery, nerve injury repair, anesthesia, and oral pathology.

Dr. Digumarthi is dedicated to the highest level of dedication and care for his patients. He has been involved in numerous research projects, lectured to many colleagues and dental students, and presented at several meetings on various aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as patient management.

During his free time, Dr. Digumarthi enjoys spending time with his family, running, and painting.
